First off, I’d like to thank you for your interest in my “ULTIMATE WORM RECIPE” book.  You might be visiting because you're tired of all the same colors on websites nowadays; watermelon seed, pumpkin seed, green pumpkin, etc.. You may wonder how some of these fabulous 2 and 3 color pours are done.  Or.......you might be looking to make some basic colors.  Either way, I'm sure my book will give you all the information you need.....and then some!  I truly hope it brings you tons of enjoyment. If you’re anything like me, you’ll have years of fun making your favorite baits in colors that fishermen only DREAM about!

I’m not about to bore you with my personal tidbits because I know you want to get to the good stuff (LOL), but most of you know me as “Al” from AL'S WORMS. My name is Chris “Al”jian………hence the name…….Al’s Worms. I’ll answer to “Al”, “Chris”, “Hey You”…….whatever works!

I began pouring worms when I religiously fished bass tournaments in the early to mid-80’s. Like most of you, I was never quite satisfied with the color varieties on hand for the average fisherman. So……..I began pouring my own. Again (like most of you), I handed baits out to friends, they handed them out, and so on down the line. I sold worms out of my garage and to a few local stores from 1988 to 1996. Then came the wonderful internet! I was the first one on Ebay to regularly sell hand-poured worms. This time frame was 1997 to……..well…….this very day (January 6, 2008), at which point the final piece of my plastic bait stock is history! My website (which was alsworms.com), was up to the public in the summer of 1998 and ran until June of 2007.

So as you can see, I have a pretty extensive knowledge in making plastics. But the key here folks is COLORS, COLORS, COLORS. To date, I had (and still do have) the largest color selection on the market.  This was my “THING”! I cannot tell you how many hours, days, weeks, years, etc. I spent working on color varieties, and I really hope it shows when you begin reading the “Ultimate Recipe” portion of this book.

If you have any questions, you may contact me anytime at awplastics@aol.com . I may not make plastics anymore, but I still enjoy talking about it, and I most assuredly enjoy helping new pourers in this wonderful little “hobby”!

Enjoy your journey!!

Chris
